Could Someone Please Help Me Set a Halloween Goal?

Hello! I was looking through the forums but I could not seem to find an answer, so I thought this would be a good place to ask!
I am a small framed 5'7.5" female currently weighing 128 lbs. I am wanting to be 120 lbs by Halloween and I was just wondering if you think this is an achievable goal. I always though that 1 lb a week is a do able and healthy weight loss target. However I have recently heard many people saying that the last few pounds won't stay off unless you lose them 0.5 lbs at a time. Is this true?
Additional info:
Calorie Goal: 1200
Activity: I play volleyball 3 times a week for 1.5-2 hrs and go to the gym 4-5x a week doing b/w 20-40 minutes of cardio and a little bit of strength training.

Hey there!
I think 8lbs is a very achievable goal! I have also heard that the last few pounds is the hardest to lose but my trainer who is the same height and around the same weight as you is still losing weight, and she currently lost 4lbs in the last 3 weeks so you could definitely do it. It will count on your diligence to push harder in the gym and eat right but it is definitely possible!

Your goal is very attainable! However, you are doing a lot exercise and only giving your body 1200 calories. I would just make sure that is enough by figuring out your BMR and TDEE (total daily exercise expenditure). Also, I have never heard that you have to lose .5lbs per week when your almost to your goal to keep it off. It is all about calories in & calories out no matter where you are in your weight loss goal. Good luck, we are all trying to achieve are own Halloween goal.0
