For the 50th time...or so it feels like,

So much has happened. I lost my dad July 5th to a massive heart attack :( He was 62 and never sick. It was a complete earth shattering event and I have been consoling myself with food! I am working on healing that part...I guess time will help.

Also August 1st I signed up to sell another Scentsy Family brand called Grace Adele. So I went from selling something that I love (Scentsy Fragrance) to now selling multiple brands that I love equally!! I also sell Velata which is the yummiest Belgian chocolate for fondue and of course Grace Adele (Hand bags and accessories)

My 35th birthday is next weekend and I am once again sick of how I look and feel.
My job has opened me up to so many opportunities and I want to enjoy it all. This previous incentive trip Scentsy flew all the consultants that qualified to Punta Cana ALL expenses paid. We are currently in the beginning of earning the next trip and we get to choose from 6 locations...1 is Hawaii!
My goal is to sport a swimsuit and be confident when I win this trip! I will have earned to be there and earned the right to feel and look amazing...well maybe not amazing but a whole lot better then I do now!!

So I am on Day 2 and have been under calories both days and burned over 200 on a simple walk tonight. I also want to try running!! ME running..I know I will feel like Phoebe running through the park but you know what..I do not care.

I AM a new ME and now I need the outside to match my inside!

JOIN Me again on this journey :)

Thanks! So far so good :)

We had my mom over for supper last night so I didn't really log my food which could have went badly but wasn't horrible and I plan to keep it under for the next couple of days just in case.
Managed to walk all but 1 day and plan to start "learning" how to run.

Glad you're back! So sorry you've had to go through that! Not to get in to detail, but I deeply sympathize, and I'm also trying not to console myself with food. It's so hard! I also quit drinking, and instantly turned to food as a substitute. :grumble:

I've still lost a little, but haven't been exercising at all! Right before I stopped working out I was starting to run... actually stopped because I hurt myself falling off a treadmill. :noway:  It's great... I started kind of like C25K, but I let my body pick the starting intervals... it wound up something like 1 min. walking, 30 running, then after a couple days I ran for longer. I went back and forth running for longer then other days I would walk for shorter, keeping the running longer. It was so cool to feel the progress. I only went 1 1/2 miles at first, and was up to 3 pretty quick. Oh, and I loved relaxing on the porch after with a cool wine spritzer thing... super awesome. Don't forget, your body knows how to run if you let it... and make certain your shoes are good!

As for looking silly... I never think a runner looks silly, just awesome and determined... and then I get a little yen to go for a run. I've never heard anyone yell at me, but I keep the music loud and motivating, so I might not know. I make sure I like my clothes, if not how I look in them. Then I can think... "Yeah, look at the pudgy girl running, at least I'm doing something, not driving the block to Burger King!" Plus, in my experience from what others say they think, guys are looking at boobs, and girls are thinking "go her!"

How great that your business is taking off! I wanna go to Hawaii! I don't know when you're starting from weight-wise, but I bet if you can lose even ten pounds you'll feel pretty awesome! My goal loss from today is the same as your ticker... 35 lb. How long do you have? Maybe we can keep each other accountable... I want to rock a cocktail dress this holiday season, and make jaws drop next summer. Wow... sorry this got long!
