issyfit suggested we try balancing ourselves, as she states, is very important as we get older. So close our eyes and balance on one foot for 30 seconds, then the other. She says to have something close to grab onto in case we tip over. I know I will need that, because I am very wobbly.

  • OMG this was hard. I never made it to 30 seconds, but issyfit you have gotten me thinking about this and I am going to try this each day until I can do it. I tried with my eyes open and did ok, some wobbling, but did it, then closed my eyes and holy smokes, call me a tea pot short and stout, tip me over and poor me out!
    The only main problem I have is trying it on my right leg. It hurts so much with weight bearing at times, but I will still keep trying each day. Thank you issyfit for such a great, important suggestion.

    You made me laugh Cali. When I almost fell into a blackberry bush today reaching for a huge berry I thought I better work on that some more too.
