Is your partner an idiot too?

Just curious... mine is learning (he's never lived with a girl before) I warn him a few days before pms kicks in. And now we have a codeword for when he's pushing my buttons too much so he knows to retreat and get me wine. We're still working on that though.

I used to warn my BF when I had one when it was coming. Im no longer with him and am currently staying with family. BUT im courteous to notify them as well. I currently reside with my aunt. But my mother and brother also live there. I tend to stay in my room and keep communication to a minimum.
Do you find that everything irritates you during that time that you normally wouldnt get upset over?
For example, my family clutters up the kitchen counters with junk mail, soda bottles, leaves food on the plates in the sink, counter trash can is overflowing, open soda cans in the fridge, moldy leftovers still in there as well. On my TOM, those set me off immediately thus giving me a bad rap during that time. :mad:0 -
my husband knows now. i tell him that it started and the first thing he does is goes out and buys me the huge dark chocolate hershey bars haha0

My PMS has only gotten out of control since I went off the pill - the mood swings are insane! Hubby used to complain when I was still on the pill that I got bad PMS abd I kept trying to tell him that there are very little hormones involved when you're taking the pill and it wasn't hardcore PMS - I think now he believes me and steers clear haha! Poor guy!
At first he would try to reason with me when I was on one of my PMS rants. It took him a while to figure out that it was literally IMPOSSIBLE for him to win!
I must admit that I can be a bit of a ***** at the best of times, but PMS time takes it to a whole new level!0 -

I really identify with this! And what does not help is that our house is so small. I really don't get why they can't pick
up after themselves if they know it makes me so unhappy. I have been known to cry over the most stupid things
but clutter is the biggest thing for me. It just makes me feel so defeated.0 -

Omg yes!! Our house has 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with a tiny galley size kitchen. Its impossible to cook in there and Im always playing "shift the crap from one counter to the next" just to get a meal done.
And when I bring it up, I'm immediately called a B*tch! I hear ya, it brings me to tears sometimes too. I cant stand clutter either. Everything has a place and that's where it should go.0 -

LOL...horrid, horrid game! I have a 2 bathroom (though one is never in working order!) 2 bedroom, one family room and
one SMALL kitchen here...I can clean the whole bathroom floor with the swiffer just by pushing it straight across and not
moving from where I am. It is a starter home...starting to drive me nuts!0 -

This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to literally murder everyone in my house when its my TOTM! Otherwise I would roll my eyes and just get on with it, but on my TOTM I just see red and want to scream at everyone like a banshee.0
