It's apple season here in Maine and I love fresh crisp apples. Can eating too many in one day be bad?? I want to eat one for morning snack and one for afternoon snack and one for evening snack. I am Type 2 diabetic and my sugars are under control at the moment. My apple craving will only last a couple of weeks, but wondering about eating too many ? ! ? ! Any thoughts, advice, or opinions will be appreciated. Thanks

I can't eat apples at all-they send my BS soaring!

Test and see what they do to you. Apples have fiber so they may not cause a big increase in BG. Everyone is different so the only way to know what a food does to you is to test.

Testing to see how your BG levels respond is the only way to tell. Apples send some people soaring and some people can tolerate them just fine. Even if you can tolerate one, I'd be careful with eating too many. While apples may contain natural sugar, it's still sugar, and all of us as diabetics need to be mindful of the amount we consume.

I understanding the seasonal craving thing ... Here in Florida it's mangos & watermelon for me. Very difficult to obstain or limit what I crave. Do you have a daily carb goal? A medium (3.5 oz) Gala or Fuji has 55 mg carbs. OUCH! Can you eat 1/2 of one several times a day WITH meals ... Would that do it?
