Hi Everyone.
I have a doctors appointment this week so I had my blood work done on Friday. My A1C was 6.2%, the lowest it's been since this whole adventure with diabetes began. And for the first time, they did a glucose random and it was 4.3(110). And I'm down 13.5 pounds since January 22.. I'm not really trying to lose weight, but it…

SO SICK of gaining weight!
When I first was told my A1C level, I made some great changes and followed a diabetic diet. Losing 15-20 pounds pretty quickly… but life happened, and I stopped paying attention, so now I am back to where I started. I am trying to build the motivation to do something about it, and this week has been a good week. Lower…

blood sugar apps
Currently I keep a calendar on my desk, where I enter my weight and blood sugar during the day. I realize MFP lets you enter blood sugar, but I don't think it lets you do a time. I'd like an app that I can track my meals/foods eaten just like MFP, but also blood sugar throughout the day as I enter it, and will give me…

When I called ABBOTT for help, it turns out the sensors aren't compatible with Apple Iphone 7. Something must have changed when I updated the software. Sooo, they…

I am going in for a blood test next week and I am wondering if they are useful for T2 diabetes, or just for T1? useful if you have gotten your blood sugar down to normal, at least some mornings every week, and are trying to keep it that way if they are bulky or uncomfortable? Are they expensive? If they are appropriate if…

frustrated and confused, how do you get ahead?
So this morning, I was amazed and delighted to test my fasting blood sugar at 124. I SO want to get down to 100. I went out to walk and throw the ball to my impatient German Shepherd before breakfast, and about 3000 steps later, came in. I tested my blood sugar before eating and it was 177. Without eating. I know exercise…
