Who's ready for the Insanity Challenge??!! Any tips for whose who haven't tried it yet? My tip is to push yourself to finish the whole video even if you have to go on our pace! There was a time when I was quitting half way through and after a week of not seeing ANY kind of results I decided to push myself and finish and sure enough I started seeing results. SO PUSH YOURSELF because YOU CAN DO IT!! Like my high school track coach used to say "you will no die if you keep going! push yourselves! you CAN do it!!"

So we have about a week left! So enjoy your last 2 weekends because after that we are going to get our butts in shape!
Oh and one more thing if anyone has some QUICK, simple step, healthy, low calorie snack recipes to share please?! I know I will have a few fiber ones and salads during the challenge but in between something new and healthy is always good.

  • I am so not ready. I have been doing some low impact cardio to try to get in shape and a lot of stretching but still know Insanity is really going to kick my butt and that I will have to do a lot of modifying. I bought 3 spare inhalers yesterdays so at least I am prepared for any asthma attacks lol.
I have already accepted that I will do a lot of pausing and collapsing lol until I get used to it. Hopefully by week 2 or 3 I will have adjusted. I plan on several rounds since I have about 70 pounds or so to lose.
I am trying to upload the dvds to my laptop since it turns out I have two seven day conferences for work so I will be on the road. I am going to try to stay on task.

For anyone who already did Insanity how did you handle the accumulated fatigue that you get before your body asjusts to the workout?

It only took me about a week to adjust last time so we will see this time around. I would say to push yourself as much as you can bc once you do and you keep going that is when you gain the strength and energy that will help you keep going. I noticed the days I was having a hard time but pushed myself and didn't let myself stop the next day was 10x easier for me. I do have some friends that have asthma and it improved once they started exercising regularly. So I hope this happens to you as well. It's something about you working on your lungs when you exercise that of course does good to the lungs and that explains why you asthma improves. Just try to stick to it as much as you can and when you dont have it available just go for some cardio however you can like going for a jog, doing sets of push ups and sit ups etc. YOU ARE READY to start you just have to believe in yourself!!
Maybe you should try doing a video or two the next few days just so that your body knows about the crazy cardio thats coming..
