I signed up for Match.com. This is the first time I have ever done something like this. I just really want to have a social life again. LOL!

    The first week or two can really bring out the creeps, so don't judge the whole experience based on them. Once you are no longer a newbie things will most likely settle down and you'll see some decent guys. Good luck :flowerforyou:

    Good Luck to you! Now that your profile is out there, wait out the weirdos that WILL come, and then my advice is to see if you're attracting the traffic of the type you're looking for.

    I haven't been what I'd call successful at it. I'm getting plenty of emails on all the sites I was on, but not a single one that interests me even for a first date (OK, I've been on 3 dates in 3 months). I clearly need to rewrite or something to get a different result.. It wasn't worth all the emails sitting there unanswered until I can figure that out so I shut it down for a bit.

    Hopefully your profile will attract what you're looking for! Just take your time, have some fun with it, and I'm sure you'll meet some good people!

    I'm not sure what made him wait around but I'm so glad he did! :love: Oh and he waited 2.5 years for the "love potion" too!

    I hear ya!! Although I'm on the upper end of the "average" category, there are still a ton of people who filter me out. But it only takes one and I'm holding on to hope! :flowerforyou:

    I heard that - I was frustrated too. I was either too fat or too thin. Well shoot should have seen me 145 lbs ago, then I was FAT, now I have some stuffing left, but not too incredibly much.

    But you are not a sack of flabby mush - you are BEAUTIFUL inside and out, and they need to GTFO it

    Well I am toned, but I'm still covered in a healthy layer of fat. And I'm thinking I may have to have that loose skin surgery in the long-run. Of course, I don't expect to get to that point for quite awhile. But I appreciate you saying so. There are two that are interested so far, but I'm not quite ready to fork over the cash for this service yet. We'll see. I'll keep you guys updated!
