I have finally completed L1 week 1.
I kid you not at first I was gun hoe, but now my chest is burning..that means it's working. I'm now able to complete 42 in 4 sets with 30sec rest in between. My goal is to improve my form and pace myself accordingly. I tried to use the push up stand, but for some reason it seemed harder and I can't barley make it up...
I'm looking forward to next week... I refuse to give up...all I can think about is by the end of this challenge I will be able to knock them out like nobody's business. I even got my kids putting their gadgets away for 15 minutes to do them with me. It wasn't easy at first with all their complaining, but today I didn't have to shut off the internet...they just showed up!

That is awesome to hear, sounds like you're well on your way. We got this! Hopefully tonight I'll be able to do W1D3 so that I can start fresh on Monday with W2. You're doing a great job, keep it up0

Did the initial test, and day one of week one. I'd like to do day two today, but I think the assigned rest periods help increase strength and reduce soreness. After day one, I got a real nice pumped feeling in my chest and a smile to go with it :-).0

You go. Oh yes, the push stands take the stress off the wrist but they are harder because you can go deeper. At the bottom your chest are even and maybe slightly below your wrists - you will get use to that.
When the going get tough the tough get going, thanks for your inspiration.0 -
Just completed week 1 level 3 of the program. I really struggled with day 3, especially set 2 and set 5. Today I did 11,15,9,9,and 13 pushups consecutively. I go all the way down until my chin hits the floor to insure i'm getting a full workout. Man, this is starting to get tough but I will make it through. Plan on starting Week 2 day 1 either tomorrow or Tuesday!0

Today completed 20, 20, 12, 6 with one minute between each sets Because I don't follow the program my goal is to get to four sets of 25 each then start to reduce the rest time between sets.0

Day 1 Week 1 complete. 35 pushups on my knees. I also did 35 squats and crunches.0

Week 1 day 2 complete. Did 23 total military style push-ups. I didn't feel the chest pump I did last time, but I did feel my lower abs working hard. I'm following the plan the way they set it up. It's working. I went from initial test 5 pushups. Next workout, did 9 max for 18 total. Day 2, 11 max for 23 total. I also have a runny nose, sore throat and general tiredness, so I was surprised at the improvement.0

That is great.... please take it easy...if your sick take it easy. I thought I had a cold and today I found out that I have Pneumonia. So I'm off for a few days... Nice work regardless...0 -
