Does this even make sense?...

Hey, I hope here I don't rub anyone the wrong way.
I don't feel like this diet is doing much for me. My BMR is 1284, and MFP set my calorie intake goal for 1200. What difference does this make anyway? I kind of find it difficult to get there as it is, I feel like I've eaten whenever I was hungry but still didn't reach it. I actually got myself some sorbet now, and I'm still 127 kcals under the daily goal.
Should I lower the daily goal? MFP keeps warning me about starvation mode, but I feel satisfied with what I eat, I don't see how this is going to make me lose anything.
Or maybe not worry about eating exercise calories?
Thank you, ladies.

I dont think its written in stone our daily suggested calories. this is only a guild. I find my suggested 1200 before exercise is the top end for me. I dont eat exercise calories..whats the point >I exercise to burn calories...not to eat them up..otherwise I wouldnt exercise. You know if your eating too little or too much. It is only a suggestion made by a computer that has took its results from average people. I am not average..hope this helps good luck0

See what your weekly weight loss goal is set at. Docs generally recommend 1-2lbs a week for healthy, sustainable loss. If you're getting those results, just go with it. MFP is designed to cut enough calories for that weight loss.0

From what I can tell you've lost two kilos in a month. It says you started in September and it's now October.
That's a VERY good loss for someone that hardly has any weight to loose. You only had 4 kgs to loose and you are half way!
Why aren't you happy with that? If I've got it all correct then that is a good and healthy loss.'
I've noticed in your diary that you now eat around 1600 which is good. Stick at it, won't take too long.
When you are like me so close to goal then 1kg a month is all we really should be expecting.0 -

Same here, I'm following EM2WL.... I'm eating more and after months my body seems to finally be changing. It's a struggle to get in every single calorie, but eating less was not doing anything for me. I need fuel for my workouts and 1200 calories was not enough.0
