Eat more!! I am 2 1/2 weeks in to LC and I tried to lower my cals down to 1300 but I just cant eat that little cals. Even with high fat I was/ am hungry. I am now just trying to eat til satisfied and not stuffed it is working so far. Some days it is 1500 cals or more or a little less. I hope that helps!

Could you unlock your diary so we can get a better picture of what you are taking/recording on the diary?

I am posting this with due sincerity..

You need to eat alot more than 1100 calories... you are basically starving yourself with your current choices.... has anyone ever recommended you learning about your BMR and TDEE?

Are you under doctors care by chance?

I'm going to also recommend that you eat more ... and different.

You are not getting enough protein or fat to keep you feeling satisfied. Your hunger is an indication that your body needs nutrients. It's trying to survive.

Eat more leafy veggies in abundance, cover with melted butter if necessary.

Instead of one egg, scrambled up a few, lob in some veggies, chuck some grated cheese in there. Forget about the calories for now, get fed and nourished.

Cook steaks in animal fat, cover with fatty sauce.

Grab some heavy cream and go mad with some berries.

2 weeks in is probably not enough time for the body to adapt to being a fat-burner, especially if it is being underfed.

I'd say that you could add 500 good calories into your diet while remaining low carb and make progress ... eggs, meat (fatty meat too), veggies.

Low Carb + Very Low Calorie = Bad News. It's a long haul, we don't make sustainable changes with drastic restriction.

Try upping your calories to 1500.

I took a peak at your diary.

For breakfast and/or lunch, I would suggest adding a couple more eggs, a cup of chopped cucumber or celery and maybe a bit of lean ham.

Looks like you're doing fine for dinner. For dinner, I usually have 2 cups steamd veggies plus 4-6 ounces of meat/fish.

You need to be comfortable and satisfied or you won't be able to keep this up.

You can adjust your calories as needed.

Uh, I used to eat 1600 on low fat and now I eat 2000 on low carb. I would be starving if I were you and I am 5 ft 9 and weigh 155! If you're in ketosis and hungry - EAT IT UP! It won't hurt... at least it hasn't for me?

I think you could be going through a carb withdrawl. I know I did for like 3 weeks. I was so hungery it scared me. Ugh.... I ate and ate and ate and was full but I was still hungery or empty. It does get better. I figured out I was in the low carb misery zone where I was still giving my body enough carbs to crave them and not really move on to the fat burning energy mode. So I bit down and cut out more of my excess carbs and finally got out of the withdrawl area. I think it is a mix between watching your cal and eating low carb. I dont think the low carb will magically make you lose weight at lease for me it hasnt. I also do not do much excersize. but if you are excesersizing and not eating enough that would be bad. Good luck

The one thing I can say is that my sugar cravings have TOTALLY disappeared!
