I guess you know the stats on depression, get your light therapy box in for the winter. Buy a few motivational books and keep up the work here on MFP

As we approach winter, it's in our human DNA to naturally want to lay down fats etc.
The fact you comfort eat is in it's self quite natural, perhaps you should drop the term "struggle" and replace it with enjoy.
Is it the sugars that you crave<?
One way would be to remove most ice creams/ biscuits and such like from your environment and replace them with similar foods, but in a low calorie form. As far as I am aware ALDI do fantastic low carb snacks ( of all kinds ) cheap fruit and even better they even take debit cards at the till!!! Thats soooooooooo 2012 lol

I go to The Spectrum in Guildford, I did join Esporta when it first opened but the pool was never available to adults at times i could go and the honey-pot prices went up and up so I went back to The Spectrum when my arthritis reduced the number of times I could attend and Esporta wanted £10 for a single session fee. Now I am back to 3 times a week through the healing power of titanium, stainless steel and Voltarol.0 -

I was at Esporta for a while, but I was never a big fan of the place.
Have you had a look at the sports park?
It's a really nice facility, Olympic sized pool, and if you're a fan of rugby, you'll often bump into Harlequins players!0
