Sorry if the UK date confuses anyone, I know you strange Americans write your date the other way around! :P
So for todays squat challenge you have to do a minimum of 75 squats.
How are you all getting on? Starting to find it more difficult yet?
(not trying to steal your thunder, beautifulreason, just wanted to get a thread up & running for those of us in earlier time zones!)

I am definitely starting to feel it now! im doing the couch to 5 k and i can definitely feel that my thighs and legs are a bit more sore at the beginning of my run!0

Completed:) Yes, it is getting more difficult. lol. I'm still doing them in one set but def feeling it when I'm done and throughout the day :laugh: should we start planning for the next challenge?0

How about plie squats with overhead press? We could increase the weight [slightly in my case anyway] a couple of times while also increasing the number of squats each day.
Day 14 - 75 squats DONE Oct 7
Still doing it all as one set and still using my [very light-weight] dumbbells.
My heart-rate is definitely elevated by the time I get to the end, but I'm able to count out loud. In fact, I have to count out loud now that we're getting into such high numbers, or I'm inclined to lose track. Oh, well, we can always start over again if we do lose track, can't we?0 -
I wasn't able to log in for the past 2 days, but I did stay on track.
So here is my update:
10/5 - day 12 - 65 squats - done
10/6 - day 13 - 70 squats - done
10/7 - day 14 - 75 squats - done

75 done. getting harder! uff da! did them in 3 sets of 25 today right after i finished 30DS level 3. I did 1 set 10 crunches, 10 backward crunches, and 15 chest flies with 5lb weights between each set. ten of them i did doing a squat and press (like 30DS level 1 taught me)0
