Good day.

I am new here. Just joined about 9 days ago.

I am seriously thinking of registering Michelle Bridges' 12WBT at $199.

Just wondering has any MFP member done this? Any success stories ?

Please advise.

Appreciate any feedback.

Have a nice Day.

Cheers

Thanks for the info. Ended up buying total Gym shaper last Friday and now ready to use. I might try MFP and total Gym shaper first as Michelle Bridges next program starts in November and I could be overseas.

I am more interested in the healthy, balanced recipes as at the moment I am just eating what I like but keeping it 1200 calories per day intake.

May be I can just google search and see if there are any balanced, healthy meal plans in the internet ?

    Thanks once again.

    Cheers from Gladstone

    Thanks. I will.

Have tried just about everything- from Ferguson, Isagenix, hypnotism, Jenny Craig and to think I only want to lose some 10 kgs.

Lost some 8 kgs whilst with Jenny Craig but when I got off it, put 5 kgs back on.

And there are a number who have lost 25 > kgs of weight. Embarrassing! Am I just hopeless?

I even thought of liposuction which can be done quite easily in the Philippines!

    May be last resort?

    Cheers
  • I highly recommend buying Jamie Duigan's clean eating books. You will be amazed at how your body responds! & you need to fuel your body. 1200 calories is not enough! :)

    Many thanks lawrahmck.

I shall try and buy that book. And yes I am finding it hard to adhere to 1200 calories. Always going over 1200 calories. Just a little. I was just following Jenny Craig's as they put me on that.

I am getting discouraged as I thought I went down to 64.9 kgs and I thought I was being good and dedicated yet when I weighed myself It went up again!

May be I am just being impatient?

    Cheers

There are people on here who have lost over 150kgs!!

I have lost close to 30 myself, and with not a gimmick or magic potion in sight! You need to use MFP for what it is, a calorie counter - that is the single most important thing I will advise. Next is to get regular exercise of some kind, anything from walking to weightlifting, as long as its consistent.

There you have it, nothing else you need to do, just maintain that and your body will thank you immensely!

No you aren't hopeless but perhaps it's not working for you because you won't eat enough! Why starve yourself when you can loose eating lots of food and then it's more likely to become a way of eating permanently?

I bought a fitbit so I'd know how many total calories I burn from midnight to the following midnight then subtract 10% from that to know what I should eat the following day. It works great! Could be something to consider if you're scared to up your calories.

    Thanks Rayman79.

I am impressed and very envious to those who successfully lose enormous amount of weight. It is amazing. Almost unvbelievable.

And here I am trying just about everything to get rid of these 10 kgs of excess weight and not attained real success. Well, it is like a yoyo.

So far, I have enjoyed the logging in foods I have eaten and exercises performed here at MFP but in last few days noticed no reduction in weight and belly still protruding! May be I should not expect result that quick.

Anyway , I will give it say 2 months so Christmas time I hope to fit size 8-10 clothes ?

I have been good. Bought Total Gym Shaper. This afternoon joined group called Friendship, Fun and Fitness run by City Council and we are supposed to meet every Wednesday. This afternoon was our first meeting and during the 45 minute circuit training I nearly collapsed. Obviously very unfit.

I will keep on logging in and try and not go over my 1200 calories daily quota and continue to walk 2.5 km almost everday at the fitness trail, circuit train with FFF members and do some weight lifting as well plus of course use the total gym shaper.

May be and this is just a may be, I do not have to have that liposuction after all!

    Wish me LUCK!

    Cheers

PS- And continue to read inspirational weigh loss stories like yours. Thanks.

    Thanks Mockchoc.

Today I am already over my 1200 calories/ day limit but I feel still hungry so I might have some miso soup. may be I should increase it to say 1300 ?

Thanks for mentioning the word fitbit. I just googled the word as I have not heard this terminology before. I will read more about it later on.

No doubt, there are a lot more I need to know about keeping fit and maintaining a healthy weight.

I will continue to read interesting posts here and I shall educate myself.

Once again many thanks for information you have shared.

    Cheers
