I love carbs... so this usually isn't a problem for me. LOL Feel free to look at my food logs for inspiration too.
My Favorite meals:
Black Bean burger w/ 1/2c rice & green beans
1/8 lb patty hamburger w/ sandwich thin & salad
Veggie omlett and a slice of whole grain toast
spaghetti w/ meat sauce (I use the barilla pasta plus in the yellow box for extra protein)
Stroganoff & noodles (made w/ lean beef & non-fat sour cream... my family can't tell the difference)
My tip for noodles. I'm cooking for my family at dinner time as well. So, to make sure that I don't over eat, I weigh out my portion of noodles, and cook it in a seperate pot from the rest of the family.
Favorite HC snacks
greek yougurt w/ 1 tsp of lemon curd & 100g of fresh pineapple or strawberries
Black Bean Salad w/ 1 oz of tostitos baked scoops & 2 oz of turkey lunch meat
Chocolate strawberry protein shake
What I won't eat?
A Turkey Sandwich w/out cheese... because well, that's like eating air. At least that's what I discovered on my 3rd high carb day sitting in the parking lot of a dairy on my vacation to Wisconsin this summer. LOL
The black bean salad is really easy.
3 different colored peppers diced
1/2c red onion
1 can corn rinsed and drained
1 can tomatoes w/ jalapinos drained
2 cans black beans rinsed and drained
2-3 cloves of minced garlic
1/4 c of lime juice (or juice from one fresh lime)
6 tbsp of red wine vinegar
Pepper
Combine all ingredients. Let sit in the refrigerator to marinate at least an hour. 1c is a serving.0 -

I would think that you can have all the fruit you want on a high carb day.0

Fruit is okay at every meal on a HC day.. as long as you keep it within the guidelines of a serving like Chris talks about in the book. Remember that each meal "should" have protein and veggies along with a healthy fat or carb depending on if it is a HC or LC day.0
