Who cares what the scale says? LOOK at this.

I've lost 19.5 pounds.

I look at those photos and am absolutely amazed with how far I've come. Those photos don't say 19.5 pounds; they say hours of hard work and eating right. They say ABSOLUTE progress. They say a heck of a lot more than the scale could possibly say. And I haven't starved myself (very rarely net below BMR, just on the occasional "off" day). I don't do crazy amounts of cardio (I have been lifting 3x/week and doing about 45 minutes of cardio 2x/week).
I've had my doubts and concerns, but I can't deny that I am making progress and that I am much healthier than I was five months ago.

Congrats on great progress.
Great job getting past mental hurdles that many find on the non-extreme route.
Arm-wrestled anyone yet?!0 -
The Scale is the Devil to me...I truly believe that we should all go off pictures and measurements rather than the scale. It shows us the true progress
Well done!!!

Honestly, I was shocked when I saw how big a difference it was. If you aren't taking pictures of yourself periodically, start doing it. It helps so much when the scale doesn't seem to be moving the way I want it to.0 -
You look great. The pictures also say "confident." Keep it up.0
