I kept running that distance a while... now i'm working up to 4 miles.
  • I was undecided until the day before yesterday. -_- According to my app I did run the distance, and on Monday I ended up just doing a random jog only I tried going faster. Big mistake! Speed is not for me as it tires me out quickly. :P

I've moved on to Bridge to 10K and will be doing the second day today. What are you thinking of doing?

Worked up 10k. I was doing the full 5k at about a 10 minute/mile. My pace has improved slightly but from starting from "zero" in May of this year, I think running 10k is a pretty big accomplishment :)

Most people when they get serious about running try to shoot for a pace goal, or a distance goal. If you're just finishing C25k, I would highly suggest going for distance rather than time (time will just come with experience)
  • Finished c25k a few weeks ago. I was already running 3 mi, each time, so I entered a 5k run. No problem at all.

Now I run only for distance. The goal is to work up to 10k. Did 3.5 miles this week.

I worked through the C25K app as my summer project. I knew that once school had started I would not be able to run every other day like I had June-August. I have not yet been able to complete a 5k in under 30 minutes, so my goal at this point is to try and increase my speed a little. I started using the Runtastic Pro app which essentially tracks my distance and pace. I've also signed up for my first 5K race which is happening in 2 weeks! Hopefully I'll be able to continue running throughout the school year so that I may start the 10K app next summer.
