Do you indulge in cheat days?

If so, how often? I'm embarking on one today, just so I won't feel so deprived. I've been good for two weeks, and I'm not going crazy, but I'm going to exceed my daily allotment. Just curious if others do this, too!

Not purposely. I've been practicing intuitive eating (google Christie Ingeif interested) for several months now, so there are days when I exceed my calorie allowance and other days when I don't meet it. It totally depends on what and how much I want to eat in the moment.

Honestly, I think whatever you can stick to long term is the best option for you and gives you the highest chance of lasting success

Personally I don't see the point in me having a cheat day. I don't deprive myself of things that I want. I pretty much eat what I want, but I do strive for portion control, and also trying to substitute other healthier things for things that are just way crazy on the non nutritional stuff. For example, I was dying to have chocolate just the other day, normally I would eat it until I couldn't hold anymore, instead of that I allowed myself 2 miniature reeses cups.....when I want pizza I don't order out, I make it at home and add lots of veggies, and use turkey pepperoni and low fat cheese.....I eat whatever I want but in more moderation now. Portion control has been easy ever since I started drinking tons of water. That much food just doesn't fit in there anymore.

With that said everyone works differently. Just try different things until you find what works best for you!

I definately have days that I allow myself to eat anything I want but when i look back at my diary later I find that I dont typically go that far off track... my carb count will be a little high but generally speaking I dont go far above my calorie goals. I just dont want the truly bad stuff any more and if I have it a bite or so is all I want.

I also dont like to consider it a cheat which implies you are doing something wrong. My philosiphy is if you eat the foods you love while you are loosing you are less likely to feel deprived and gain it all back

I don't really do cheat days. I get a small chocolate fix each day, If i would like something I work it in for the day calories or i work my back side off at the gym to make sure i have the calories to have it.

I've been eating a lot of what are my really bad trigger foods that I'd pig out on. I've been doing a really good job recently of eating only a tiny bit instead of stuffing myself.
