I think I am going to do a TDEE metabolism reset for about the next 4-6 weeks. I've upped my calories and such, but I'm still feeling deprived every couple of days. I guess trying to go the short-cut way and not fully doing the whole EM2WL thing wasn't the best idea. Welp, here's to the next month or so. Wish me luck!

A metabolism reset is a great thing especially if you have been on a VLCD for a long time. 4 weeks might not be long enough though, depending on how long you have been on low calories for.

Best of luck. Your body will thank you for it

Well, the past two weeks I've been eating at about 1900 average calories. Before that I had my calorie goal set from 1400-1600 (I was always changing it) My TDEE is 2399 (according to HeyBales spreadsheet I used) so I'm going to see how four weeks is and see if I'm still feeling stuffed, etc. If I'm feeling comfortable, I will then start my deficit. If not, I'll keep doing my reset.

Should I eat back my exercise calories? Or no? While I'm on this process, that is.

NOpe. youe TDEE includes your exercise, so as long as your level of activity is what you calculated, then there is no need to eat any of those back.
Keep in mind for the first litle bit, you will probably feel bloated, uncomfortable and HUNGRY!! This is all normal.. it does get better the more you eat at TDEE. So make sure you push through that part.
A reset is a good idea and I wish you the best. I agree with Noor though. 4 weeks may not be enough.. SO be open minded that you may want to go past that 4 week mark when you get there.
    All the best!
