Sugar?

So I've given up lollies, sweets, and cakes this month but am still high on sugar! How much attention do you pay to the nutritional values (beyond fat, calories, and fiber)? Can I safely ignore the fact that I'm over my sugar goal at 12pm because of the apples I had following a long workout?

I am participating in a study that works to reduce the amount of sugar that we eat, so I've been paying particular attention to it. I think that there is sugar added to EVERYTHING and tracking it is time consuming, but I think it has been working. I feel less hungry because I'm not riding on a sugar high and then crashing. Maybe pay more attention to the unnecessary added sugars to the foods you eat, and try to rely on more natural sugars - like those in fruits.
