Australian fast food

Hi there fellow Aussies, Our kitchen is being rennovated at the moment and we've been eating out quite a bit. I'm finding it difficult to find healthy take away options that aren't too expensive. Subway's been getting a workout and I also love Thai food (no creamy curries for me though and no white rice). Just wondering if anyone can suggest some healthy takeaway options or chain stores that have their calorie counts on their websites. I live in Hobart.
Thanks in advance

Doner kebabs with lots of salad, falafel and maybe or maybe not some sauce or cheese, Thai beef salad, some Vietnamese food is really healthy if you're lucky enough to have one around, Chinese stir fried seafood and veggies (ask for less oil).. Good luck, I can't think of many at all! Most will have a lot of calories.0

I just found that crust pizza has an online calorie count. I basically just want to know what I can and can't eat. I think donar kebabs can be risky. The meat is pretty fatty. I suppose if you had yoghurt sauce and just a little instead of sour cream, no cheese and lots of salad0

You must not have noticed I said "falafel" in it, so no meat! We don't get sour cream for them here but yes you can get yogurt sauce, chilli sauce or some others.0

You can always try : http://www.8700.com.au/kj-in-food/search-foods/
It lists quite a few fast-food chain items, but as far as I can tell, you need to search for something particular. You can then refine your results by chain/company.
In Melbourne, some Fish n Chip spots offer grilled fish and salad options and a local pizza place had steamed veggies. I'm sure in Hobart it's the same.

Sorry, I must have skipped over that part. Falafel is yummy That seems like a good option.

It sucks having to eat without a kitchen. Try buying from places like Hill Street Grocer in West Hobart, or Salad Bowl In South Hobart (or Lipscombe Larder in Sandy Bay or that place on the main road in Lenah Valley) where you can get healthy deli foods and great veg and bread. They're open until about 9pm. They have homemade salads, pies, curries etc. Or BBQ chicken with a bag of salad and some sourdough rolls. North Hobart has lots of options; Nando's, a Taste of Asia Curry, Fish and Salad from Fish 349.0

Red Rooster do whole chicken roasts with veggies. Not the most low cal but not too bad if you steer clear of the chips and burgers0
