1. Returning you to the last post you viewed.
2. Ability to sort and order your saved foods and recipes.
3. Making image upload a lot easier - I'm pretty computer savvy, but it took me a while to work out I needed to use html.0 -

I totally agree.0 -
Predictive text would be good when selecting food or exercise to put into diary:0

The only reason I am glad there is no like button is because I think if there was one there would be less interaction. Too many people would just click 'like' and not leave a personalized comment.
I like the comments.0 -
Totally agree with Amy. Please - no like button! Please don't turn mfp into a junior copy of facebook.0

I understand about the LIKE button. But sometimes there's just nothing more to say, but you want to let them know you're there. Know what I mean?0

1.a better way to search for friends

A way to to change (or remove) certain Meal Names without having your foods shift to different meals or disappear altogether!!! :explode:

An easier way to enter receipes and make sure the ingredients are correct. If you add a wrong amount you have to go back in delete what you entered and reenter it...too many steps right now:mad:0

Ok. Try 3 to comment. LOL
1. I agree with this comment. It is frustrating.
2. Would like to see the ability to comment on a comment and be notified that someone commented on my comment. Right now, if someone asks a question and you answer, they won't see it unless they remember to go back and check that person's post. I, for one, forget to do that.
3. Would like for the comment after you complete your food diary to be something like "Completed her diary and was within x calories of her goal." I feel the point is to eat at least that many calories, esp. for the people who are set at 1200, but it only gives you "kudos" for eating less.0 -

Good points, I agree!

I can only think of one thing I wish MFP would add right now and that is the ability to copy an item on your diary and paste it into another meal.0
-
One more I just encountered. When you go into the database to add an item to your meal, show the calories. I just tried to add salmon and the calorie amount was incorrect in the database, per my packet. So, I had to delete and go back and try again. Still not correct, so I added my item to the database. Frustrating to have to type it all in again when I would have known it was incorrect if they had just showed me the calorie count.0

I know when I'm posting from my phone, I can see the calorie count. But from my destop I can't.

I wish the items on the "recent" list were all on one page, not four.
I'd also like to be able to edit those descriptions. For example, instead of generic - grapes, I'd like to change it to "grapes - generic"
I'd also like to have the ability to edit the foods in my "recent" list. I have some foods in there that I won't have again, and other foods that I have but only occasionally. Those I'd like to keep but the ones that I will never have again, I'd like to be able to delete.

1. The ability to read/post on the forums from my phone
2. Hyperlinks
3. Definitely the ability to return to the last post you read. It's really annoying sometimes to go searching for something you just read
4. I'm still waiting for the recipe database!0 -
Let me name my quick-add calories.
Often I spend a long time entering all the ingredients of a meal. I wish I could just copy the whole meal - say copy my lunch to dinner, or copy dinner to the next day's lunch! Because of course I made enough to have leftovers to save and eat later!
Now if mfp would let me name my quick-add calories, I could enter "same as Friday's lunch".0 -

You can make a meal which is easy to copy. I can't go back and check for sure, but I think you enter the meal in your diary and then, on the quick tools hit copy meal. It will place it into your "meal" bin, so when you want to add that one again, click on "my meals" and it's there. If those names aren't exactly right, I think you can figure it out. I've done that with a couple of things and it works great. Also, if you enter a recipe, you can just go to your recipe's and add the item from there. Hope this has helped you and isn't confusing. I've only had one cup of coffee this morning. :laugh:0 -
Predictive text would be good when selecting food or exercise to put into diary:
Agreed.
Also, making the recipe tool easier to edit, like the food diary pages are; being able to adjust a quantity after you add it instead of having to delete and re-find it.
Also, a way to mark a food as a Favorite, especially since there are often multiple versions of the same food that are entered differently.0 -
1- Returning you to the last post you viewed (already mentioned)
2- Receive reminders about message boards with comments after you commented (with link to go directly to board page)
3- Read boards on phone0 -
a way to copy meals from a previous day to any meal on the current day
a way to delete multiple items in a meal entry
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MOST RECENT FOODS LIST...WHEN I LOOK FOR SOMETHING I JUST ADDED, I SEE SOMETHING I ATE MONTHS AGO...I'D LIKE AN ACCURATE LIST OF MY MOST RECENTLY EATEN FOODS. i HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING SOMETHING i JUST ADDED YESTERDAY SO I GET FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS MENU, SEE WHAT I TYPED TO FIND IT AGAIN...
Thanks!0 -

Looks like they added this one! Hooray!0 -
It would be great if they could make the weekly target loss in the profile settings more granular. I'm finding that at a pound a week, my daily calorie allowance is too low for comfort especially now that I'm hungry from exercising more, but at a half-pound it's a little higher than I'd like. A goal of .75 pounds a week would be the sweet spot for me; 3 pounds a month instead of 4. It might sound nitpicky but it would make a difference.0

There have been a lot of great posts here, and I agree with most of them. I'll add mine:
1. Organization of user-posted recipes by type and then alphabetized. I don't like having to scroll through pages of entries to find something.
2. Get rid of the "If you continue to eat this way, you'll weight XXX in five weeks." It's never correct.
3. Notification when someone responds to your comment.0
