Rest days?

I did Week 1 Day 1 today (woohoo!) and I know that it is recommended to take a rest day in between. My question is, what do you guys do on your rest day? I hate to do no cardio whatsoever, so I'm wondering if a moderately paced walk (outside or on treadmill) along with strength training is OK, or maybe I should just do strength training and rest on the cardio.... Not really sure so just curious what you all have found helpful to make sure you are ready to tackle the next day when it's time.

    I always thought a nice 30 minute walk (emphasis on walk) was a nice way to break up the day of leg-stress.

    You can try to go longer if you like, but I found that anything over 45 minutes of walking on the "rest day" at the beginning was a bit too much right before the next day of the program.

    It's also something that most avid runners do on their days off. Don't forget walking! :)
