I don't want to be ripped; I want to be lean

It's about health (and mobility) as much as for looks. So I'm doing pilates.

What's your goal physique? What are you doing to get it?

So true for me on ur topic. I do strength training with various tools such as weights, stretchie bands, resistance belt, weights, fit cuff on legs. I do this every other day.

I want to be stronger to be able to help hubby in so many ways as he is now using a cane and a wheelchair which I help put into the back of the pick up .

I really just want to tone. I've lost 23 pounds and am very happy with that, but now really notice the saggy skin! I hill walk every day (live on a mountain, so that's where I walk) so my legs are just fine, but I need to start regularly working my arms, shoulders, and abs. I will never be out in a bikini (3 babies in 6 years took care of that!), but I would like to have a nice, healthy, toned body.

I do weights at least 2 times a week. Nothing really heavy due to arthritis. But at home I have 3, 5, and 10 lb weights that I can combine for up to 15 lb. Also have ankle weights adjustible from 3 to 5 lbs. I mess with them on days I do the tread mill (don't go outside). I go to the gym at least twice a week and use either resistance machines or weights, mixing it up quite a bit. Some saggy skin will never go a way (a blessing you get when you become a senior citizen), but you can definately get some good muscle tone and definition.

My goal is to have a healthy lean body. I am doing some pilates, some old fashioned toe touches etc, and my husband & I walk about five nights a week for a couple of miles. Nothing drastic but I can see changes in my body. I carry weight around mymidsection that I hope to get off.

30 day shred. Now in phase 3 (jumped 3 days this week). But loving this possibility of doing 20min a day. It works for me.

When I started I wanted to be strong/physically able to cope. I work out 2/wk with a PT n now I look like I work out too n I like that. I feel like my self discipline is finally evident. I don't want to be ripped but mostly because I can't b bothered with the work required for that lol! There was a time where my husband who is 6'3" hurt his back n I literally had to lift/slide him from one location to another (sometimes on my back) and I was so grateful then that I'd come so far.

I don't want to look like a bodybuilder, but a bikini model might be nice!

I'm at about 20% body fat but would really like to be closer to 18%, where I was when I turned 40. Not sure I can get there, but I'm sure gonna try. Still got some extra skin that I hope tightens up as well.

Not looking for that "perfect" body anymore (my 5 kids took care of that for me). I would just like a nice toned, healthy one!!

I'm looking for that body I thought I had when I was 17! NOT!
I was actually kinda soft all around even though I had quite a lot of muscle then.
I don't want to look like a weight lifter (and I'm too lazy to do that anyway); I want to trim that soft layer of fat off so I can see the muscle underneath that I already have.

^^^Me too! I keep telling my bf, I have plenty of muscle, it's just hidden under a nice layer of fat still! I want to decrease my bodyfat %.

I would really like to be in the middle section of healthy range for body fat, at present I am just bordering on unhealthy and when that time of the month comes for me it tips me over into unhealthy :( all the bloating my body does it sends me up on the scale and out in the waist line

I want to tone up now that I've lost 72 pounds and am at goal weight. I do cardio 6-7 days and strength training 3 times a week.

I want to be ripped. I want to shock the hell out of everyone by showing them that after 4 kids, in my late 40's with hard work and commitment I can take this all the way.

ME TOO! Dang it - want to be ripped well before I turn 50 in a few years! I'm following New Rules of Lifting for Women, running (5 miles last night) and lots of planks!!!

My goal is to look better and better each year.

I love 'shocking" people when they find out my age!

But my ultimate goal is to be healthy and do things I have always done...some things I am working towards.
