Hi, I just found this group :)

I bought a pole a couple months ago, I do pretty good so far, but I clearly need to work on my ab strenght.

What are some good ab workouts that can be done using the pole? Im not a fan of crunches, I like funner ways to work out. But if someone has a suggestion other than pole moves, Id like to hear them too (even if its a dvd full of crunches lol)

    My pole teacher has us do Russian Leg Lifts. Lay on your back, with the top of your head near the pole. Grab the pole with your hands and you the lift your legs to 90 degrees and drop them back down to the floor. Holding onto the pole gives you some stability. I also use a futon couch leg, basically any type of stable pole should work. You can make it more difficult by dropping your legs to the left and right, or you have a person stand by your legs and they push them in a random direction.
