No mater your exersise routine, even just stretching

This will help train your stomach muscles and firmness. Just
tighten your tummy and pull it back or in.0 -
Good tip! Thanks JodyGirl!

I'm new also and have learned so much reading thru posts. When I'm working out I sometimes put my hand on my stomach to remind myself what muscles to tighten.0

I never thought about that! I would always just not care and think that the crunches would crunch the fat away0
-
Yes - Abs tight everyone!

It really does make a difference, when I used to do a lot of crunches I really started to notice a difference!0
-
Do crunches actually work ?0
-
I'll try that, even though my abs are covered in layers upon layers of fat.0
-
Thanks! I always forget to do that!0

Nice tip!! I try to always hold mine in!0

Thanks to my mum when I was a little girl telling me to suck it in whenever I am walking so I look straighter and taller haha I now do that all the time, excellent tip!0

Hello, I just joined this group. The idea of holding your tummy in while walking is really a good workout for your tummy; I call it the belly button to spine hold. Thanks for the tips0
-
I am sitting at my desk doing it... holding in my stomach.. and it is really hard to do for long periods of time. But I did notice that it forces you to sit up straighter, which is great for your core anyway! Plus you look thinner
Thanks!0 -

Doing the same thing!! haha
Lost the weight, but the loose skin that hasn't firmed back up yet makes me look like I have a pooch when I'm sitting, so I tend to do this all the time.... haha0 -
Thanks Jod

Great tip Thank you.0

Suck your tummy in, or try flexing, it will pull the muscles in. You want to feel your muscles moving in your abdomen, that's how you know you're tucking in.0
-
Thanks! I have been doing that.0
-
Good tip, I try to remind myself through the day. Suck it in !!!0
-
ooooo i like it..i like it.....esp as my one of my chief goals is to lose my big fat flappy tummy from post pregnancy...it must weigh 2-4 pounds all by itself...really brings me down....and your tip can just lighten my day....im in0

The tummy tip I believe is another way to get people to not bend their back while in an exercise position. You always want to keep your back straight0
