Well my brother shot a 10 point buck up on our hunting land an hour ago... looks like my food source for survival is looking on the up... now giving myself 97% chance of survival.

How would you keep that meat without electricity to run a refrigerator? How long until refugees and other outdoorsman/ hunters/ survivalists start scouting out your camp with all of that shooting you intend to do for harvesting game? Camp fires and cooked meat will attract lots of other people with guns who are thinking the same thing you are - "let's all head to the woods".

Not knocking your plan, just throwing out ideas.

Who would be a lone wolf and how many would try to form a community or possibly just a small group of 5 adults or less?

Being a Lone wolf is bad and its especially dangerous for a female( think mad max or even book of eli). 10-15 adults preferably people you knew before hand so there are less trust issues. I would like to remind people that despite what the movies tell us (and the walking dead) the end of the world is not a good time to be getting pregnant. Please remember to pack condoms in your Bug out bags lol.

yeah but most of those women in those situations were just stupid. my plan would be to wear something that covers my body and mot of my face and shoot first and ask questions later. most of the women in those women are too busy waiting for people to come and save them screw that i'll be taking what i want tyvm :laugh:


seriously though i keep meaning to start putting together an emergency kit because i have NOTHING. for starters i want to get 3 days worth of food and water as well as flashlight, solar battery charger, compass, tools, and stuff to make a fire

If at home, I could make it about a month with supplies and ammo on hand. I only have my 72 hour thing on the road.

I could be very useful in a small group of all active and participating survivors.

Yeah. Sadly, no, I wouldn't make it too long.

I used to know how to start a fire without a lighter or matches. Two rocks or two sticks. If I could probably re-learn how to do that and would be an asset to a community and be kept around for a little bit.

Or you could just get a portable flint and steel to keep on your keychain

I am not single, this group just seems to have the most fun. After almost a year, I couldn't help myself.

I read an awesome post today that said the ability to do pullups drastically increases your chances of survival.

I believe this. I will invest in this. This is a good way of thinking.
