Hey all
Just wanted to send an update.
A brief intro about my stats-Im 5"5.5. VLCD and yo-yo-ed for almost 20 years now.Started upping my calories by 100-200 each month since June 2012.I reached my maintenance at 2250 and kept it there for 5 weeks, scared by the weight gain made a cut back to 1800 at which point i did not see any loss for 5 weeks. Now given the holidays etc i decided to switch to maintenance for the next 2 months. IM NOT GAINING ANYMORE :drinker: .In the whole process of upping calories i think i gained abut 15 pounds and lost 6 pounds(ie 8 pound gain in total).I have good muscle composition-I lift 3x-4x a week and cardio 2-3 days a week(just for 30-45 minutes).I eat primarily clean homecooked meals during the week and I eat out on the weekends with my husband.

What else ive gained in this process?

1.Fought my way out of anemia
2.Got rid of breaking nails
3.Got rid of low heart beat(when im gasping for breath on the treadmill)
4.Got rid of Zombie like cold hands and feet
5.Facial Skin is clearing up
6.Got Rid of PMS
7.Hardly ever get cravings anymore
8.Enjoy food when i want to
9.Started Sweating again(there was almost 1 year period where I did not sweat even after a bad-*kitten* workout)

above all...FREEDOM.

Congrats! I love that list. You may have stopped gaining scale weight, but you certainly haven't stopped gaining wonderful NSVs.

Great list every one on 1200 calories should have posted in their profile to look out for to see what they are doing to themselves isn't needed.
