I was wondering if anyone else is out here that has quit and lives with a smoker. I am at my 156 days but it has been a hard road. Wanted to see about getting support with how to deal with that smell, it is awful. Not to say But I never smelled it when I smoked of course not. But now I see how awful I smelled to my coworkers.
I banned smoking in the house 3 yrs ago I was a smoker but didn't like the smell in my house, so thank goodness for that at least he has to go outside, but when he comes in its like a cloud. Any supporters greatly appreciated. I have some stressful days????

Congratulations on staying smoke free.
I just recently quit...again. I quit months ago for over 4 months but I had a really hard time because my son and my mother-in-law to be smoke. My main problem is soon to be my mother-in-law. I stay over weekends. When you open the door to the house there is such a stench from the smell of smoke it's disgusting! Even as a smoker it bothered me. Every time I left I had to shower again as soon as I got home and I had to wash everything I took into that house. She refuses to smoke outside and she doesn't even bother to open the windows. It's disgusting.
Up until now it's been hard for me not to pick up one cigarette but I know I'm so much better off not smoking. Any tips to help me stay smoke free would be very much appreciated.
Add me as a friend, I need all the help and encouragement with quitting smoking and laying off the food.0
