    11/27: 193 lbs (I actually lost weight over my thanksgiving vacation, a pesonal first.)

    WOW! Good for you for continuing to loose during Thanksgiving! I'm sure I put back on the 2 lbs I lost :(

    Hi everyone! I'm glad to be here! I have always been overweight, even in school. My weight is pretty steady, it doesn't fluctuate much. I get motivated to start working out and then workout for a few days straight and then fall off. I actually work at a gym so I really don't have an excuse...lol. Anyway, I am ready to make a PERMANENT change so it's time I got off the sidelines and started participating!!!

    I'm so excited that I found this group - I love these kinds of challenges because they keep me accountable. A few years ago I went from 175lbs to 120lbs and felt amazing! My high weight was around 200 so I think of this as a gradual process:) I'm back up to the mid-130s now due to poor diet and little exercise, so lets see what we can do. Good luck everyone!

    Hi all! Briefly describe your journey thus far and give your starting weight.

    Began my journey at 294.8. I was lazy, unmotivated, and complacent. I found MFP and Zumba and the rest is history. I have lost 34 pounds so far and have no plan of stopping.

    I couldn't agree more- same thing for me I found Zumba then I actually started using MFP app for it's intented purpose and BAM! I ibegan to drop the weight...I'm not looking back!

  • Hey Y'all I decided I wanted to challenge myself to end this year with a bang...and start the new year running!
    Over the last year I have gone through some changes in my life and faught through depression. My weight has gone up and down 20pounds and as of this morning I weighed in at 226lbs.
    I want to get started now that I feel good about the new year and starting 2013 with a renewed motivation!

    This challenge has come at a great time for me. I'd lost 30 pounds over several years and maintained fairly well until recently....gained back 10 over last few months. I've got to stop the gaining and get back to losing. I'm 43, 2 daughters (17 and 10 year olds), have a desk job and struggle to find time to exercise. Need more friends to help me stay accountable.
