has your body shape changed but measurements stayed same?

I am having this really weird view of my body right now. My butt feels bigger, yet its measurements are the same and I still fit into my pants. It might be higher from lifting, which maybe means fat is higher too?!
Waist is nearly the same as it even was before reset. Tummy is pretty flat from workouts. Thighs are measuring significantly bigger and I don't know how to tell if it's water retention from lifting (3x week) or fat gain. I've basically been resetting now for 5+ months.
And am further unsure because FitBit and BMF are so different (500-600 cals/day).

Just wondered how others are feeling throughout the body mass changing/shifting. . . . this is not really a question for those who have clearly lost or gained significant inches if you know what I mean.

My measurements have not changed, but my pants are looser where my butt meets the back of my leg. Things shift around for sure when you lift! My tummy fat also tends to shift to the middle while my sides slim down and then comes off later, so again, my measurements haven't changed, but I look different!

That's why I like taking pictures.

My measurements are virtually unchanged since I hit my goal weight a year and a half ago. My waist is a little smaller, my hips are a little smaller, but for the most part... it's the same. Maybe an inch or half inch difference here or there.

Photos tell a different story: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/LorinaLynn/view/no-weight-loss-no-progress-448694

    Yup.
I talked about it last week. My measurements are pretty much unchanged.. my weight has dropped about 3-4 pounds but I am still above where I was prior to reset.. Yet my shape has changed. Ive had tons of family and friends tell me I look great and lost weight, which I havent.. and then last week a personal trainer at my gym (who I dont train with) commented that she thought I was doing amazing and that my training is paying off and she can totally see changes.. THAT proved to me that the tape measure and scale can both lie

Take Pictures. I had to have Kiki point out the changes to me, but my upper waist, arms and butt all got smaller.

Thanks! It is really helpful to hear this!

I would love to see pics of two women of the same height where one is a couple sizes bigger than the other, yet looks better -- has a better/fitter shape.

I would look at that pic everyday for inspiration!
