I know the Paleo lifestyle is all about finding what works for you, but I find I'm always really high in protein... is this an issue?? I feel great and haven't been hit with the carb flu (today is my 5th day), so I'm constantly wondering if I'm doing something right. =\

I do not see anything wrong with higher protein for short spurts. Now, if you were in the high range for years then yeah. . .might not be the best for you. I think if you feel good then you are doing exactly what your body needs! Keep it up :)

your protein level in your diary is set WAY too low in my opinion...

you should be eating your lean body mass in g/protein. for example im abt 150 lbs and 22% fat- that means i have 33 lbs of fat on my body and 117 pounds of lean mass so i try to make sure i eat 117g of protein.

so i would go tinker with your macros... make sure you get enough protein first, then set your carbs to how many grams a day you want, and have the rest go to fat.

    hope that helps!

    Disagree that you are high.
You had a couple days slightly above 100 and several in the 60-70 range (I only looked back like a week).
Paleo peeps often recommend between .7 to 1.0 g of protein for each lb of lean body mass.

If you are getting any lifting in (which you should), then you should be best to be getting around 100g's average for a female with about 100 lbs of lean body mass. Some even propose 1g per lb of weight regardless of lbm.

Thank you again for all the advice and support!! I've never been into nutrition or fitness so this is all very brand new to me.

    I changed my micros to:
    Carbs 15% (49g)
    Protein 35% (115g)
    Fat 50% (73g)

This seems to fit more along the guidelines of what I have read and the advice given here. I'm slowly but surely seeing huge changes in my body and mind!
