Glad to be here. Yep, new to the group and to diabetes. I was diagnosed last month, October 17th, after having to go to the hospital emergency room with DKA (blood-sugar count at 986) and pancreatitis. A bit of a rude awakening but most definitely my fault. Doing all that I can to turn things around. Getting a good start and am so looking forward to a better life.
