Lost Inches But Gained Weight. Help?

I'm about two weeks from finishing the program, while I am very happy that my body looks noticeably more slimmer now (I actually went down from a size 8 to size 6 US), my weight went up from 57 to 60kg. Is this normal? I know I shouldn't be relying on the scale to track progress, but the numbers are really bothering me.

I'd say as long as your body is looking better and you've lost inches, the weight gain is probably due to muscle gain! .... So congrats!!! I'm not quite halfway through the first month, but if I can have similar results to yours I will be thrilled!!0

I'm in week 2 of month 2, so at a similar point, and I've gained about 3 lbs through the program. I've noticed my weight fluctuates a lot on a daily basis though. Today, I was up almost 2 lbs over the previous day, (mainly because I left my water bottle at home and didn't drink enough during the day). Basically though, I'm just weighing out of habit, and not because it really matters to me. My body is tighter and my muscles are stronger. I suppose it would be nice if that translated to the scale, but I'd rather have the gains I've made than a couple of pounds loss without the increase in tone I've gotten.0

If you lost inches but gained weight..i assume its most likely just muscle mass. Results from the mirror are more reliable than numbers on a scale. It's tough sometimes to believe that because most people are all about the numbers but the mirror tells all0
