    Hi everyone,

    I'm Trina and I'm addicted to Walking at Home. I love how challenging the program is and how it is generally equipment-less.

    This challenge is perfect and I'd love to set a goal of 80 big miles! I'm part of another December challenge and this ties in very well :)

    Here's what I've walked so far this month:
    Dec 1 - 5 miles
    Dec 2 - 5 miles
    Dec 3 - 5 miles
    Dec 4 - 5 miles
    Dec 5 - 5 miles

    25 miles so far - 55 left to go!

    Hi all! I'm new to the group but I'm definitely not new to Leslie. I love her videos! I'm always up for a challenge so this is perfect. Between today the 6th and the 31st I'm down to knock out 80 miles! That puts me at about 20 miles a week from here on. Will check in each Saturday with an update

  • New member here! I have pulled out all my Leslie Sansone tapes. It's been a while since I have used them. I need to lose 40 pounds.........eek!

    Looking forward to getting to know everyone. My goals for this week:
    Saturday: off, as we are in New York
    Sunday: One Mile
    Monday: Ab workout
    Tuesday: 2 miles
    Wednesday: Walk Strong
    Thursday: One Mile
    Friday: Ab workout

    35 miles down! 45 miles to go!! :) This 80 mile goal sure looks attainable!

    Ok yesterday I failed to record but did 2 miles Active Adult. Today I did the same. Need to change my goal. I'm having some pretty bad back pain. The longer more rigorous walks are too much I think. Resetting my goal to 45 miles.
    So far 20 done.

    Oh, m23gm25, do take it easier so that your back gets to feeling better real soon. Yes, some of those rigorous walks are rough on us women of a certain age :noway: (I just peeked at your profile, I'm 62). I'm super proud of you for wanting to get you health back for so many awesome reasons. Stick with the walks that you can do, and modify them as you feel the need while you are building your strength and stamina back up.

    My dear fellow walkers, I ,too, have to cut back a bit. I cannot do any of the dvds at the moment because I have a pretty bad foot and all the movements like sidesteps, grape vine and mambo are not good for me. I will log my walks with the dog and walking on the treadmill instead. Hope to be back in full LS power by xmas.

    Hi guys...After dinner I took a hot shower, and muscles felt more relaxed. I did more Leslie miles, but took it at
    half speed at first. I've received so many expressions of care and concern today...I really want to thank all of
    you for them. :)

    Here's the updated stats; broken into 2 workouts:

    Goal: 80 miles

    Today: Workout #1- 3 miles
    Today: Workout #2-5 miles

    Total: 38 miles

    Took the weekend off. Weighed myself after one week. I only lost 0.8 pounds. :( 35 miles of stepping should've given me more than that. ugh.

    Walked 2.5 outdoors this afternoon.
    Total outdoors: 2.5

    I'm going to track outdoors separately b/c I want to purposefully start adding in more of those when possible, and I want to visually keep track. I will combine both totals at the end of month.

    Maybe you gained some muscle. Also the number is so dependent on what is going on in your body... recent food intake, salt, TOM if applicable, Your general health, and many other variables. You are getting healthy and fit, and that is what counts.

    OK, I just peeked at your profile and you seem to be on your last pounds to reach goal according to your ticker. Last pounds usually leave slower for whatever reason from what I have learned from my reading here and my experience also. You will do it!! You will reach goal and be more fit.

    I am sorry that you foot is hurting :cry: . The important thing is to heal. Feel better hon :flowerforyou: .

    Well done, and quite smartly at that. You still get the benefits of walking and exercise whether you break the exercises up or do all at once.
