Hi guys! I have discovered that my protein powder is giving my really awful gas. Is this a problem for anyone else? What protein powder do you use? I don't think I have a sensitivity to dairy or anything like that, maybe its just the brand?? Need a new brand asap, have a hard time meeting my protein goal without a shake or two every day! Thanks for you help!

It's indirectly a problem for me, because it's been a big problem with my fiance :)

I bought body fortress, which I found out later was the cheapest brand possible (and it doesn't make good shakes at all), so I'm not sure if whatever's added into it is causing the excessive smells in my house. But I am almost done with the jug, so will be moving on to probably optimum whey, since people rave about it on the site.

I use the Target brand, chocolate. I haven't had a problem. I don't usually use it every day though and no more than 1 serving.

I've noticed that too much at once can do that. Try spreading it out evenly over the day.

I use Vital Whey. It's whole, nondenatured whey from grassfed cows, all natural, etc. I love it. Never gives me tummy trouble.

I use Lamberts Pea Protein which is comparable in protein content to whey powders, but can tend to make really thick shakes, so more liquid needed...
