I know it's kind of early, but for me, it's never too early to start planning. I've just retained the services a certified multisport coach and 7x Ironman finisher to kick my azz starting next week. Going for some PRs in 2013. Here's what my schedule looks like for next season:

Fantastic, you already have a busy year lined up.
So far my schedule looks like:
27 Jan - Hypothermic Half
27 May Ottawa Marathon
03 Aug National Capital Sprint Tri (or Du depending on my swimming)
Sep 2013 - Ride The Rideau (100km charity ride, not a race)
22 Sep - Army Run 5K
12 Oct - Fall Colours Sprint Du
and maybe something short & fun after that
Depending on how the marathon goes I may focus on shorter but more frequent events in 2014 but for 2013 I'm feeling masochistic.0 -
Still planning mine out, but here's what I'm eyeballing at this point.
February - Lake Effect Half Marathon
April - Seneca 7
May - Fly By Night Duathlon
June - Tough Mudder
July - Musselman Half Ironman, Sky High Xterra
August - Cayuga Lake Olympic
September - Skinnyman Sprint
October - Great Lakes 1000 -

Wow...nice job. Looks like I better step it up0 -
I'm planned through May:
1/27- USA Fit Half Marathon
4/7- Texas 70.3
5/18- Ironman Texas
After that there are a lot of local sprints and olys around that I'll take on a case by case basis depending on how burnt out I am after IMTX.0 -
Don't really have any exact races planned out...
But I would like to do:
3-4 sprints
1-2 Oly
1? HIM??0 -

October - Great Lakes 100
My schedule is tentative. Some of the races might get taken out, and some added. There's a local (and I mean local - start line is like 1 mile from my house) mountain bike race first weekend of August that's not on there right now. Depends how I feel at the time, and their also talking about making it a 6 hour relay race, or you can do it solo also if you have the cojones.0 -

I did a race last year put on by the same people who put on Fly By Nite... it was a great race - good course, well organized, fun, etc... so I'm making it a point to do FBN this year.
I wish I had some mtn bike racing near me...0 -
I'd kill myself on a MTB. LOL. There are a a few TTs by me in the fall I might do. Need to figure out if I can travel for a half ironman too or if I have to stay local.0

I did a couple sprint tris last year but I've taken a break and I want to get back in it and move up in distance in 2013! (I joined MFP a while ago but never used it seriously. I'm trying to start!)
Plan so far:
February: 10K Rodeo run
March: Sprint tri (haven't picked one yet)
April 27th: Kemah Olympic Tri (my first olympic!)
Getting married June 1st so I'll think I'll be plenty busy through May, and I'll be focusing on staying fit but no races.
After that I hope to do my first half-marathon and then Half-Ironman!0 -

March: Look at the CDifferent tri on March 17th. Great cause and a fun race. Use CDIFFHOLIDAY for 20% off registration.
And maybe I'll see you in Kemah. I'll be there cheering.0 -

Great, thanks! I may have to go watch the Texas Ironman. I've never seen one in person, I bet it'll be great inspiration!0 -
Looks like a lot of people have some great plans for next year!0
-
Am looking forward to 2013 for SURE!
2012 was a bit of a bust due to illness.
But I'm motivated & back!
After completing 2 sprints & 2 olympic distance events, I really want to train for my first half ironman.
(already booked a post-race day off of work after that goal event in June!)
but I swear... I didn't realize how much weight I'd gained after getting sick
getting it off will be the first part of the battle.
but hey, I'm up for the challenge!0 -
I've got an early half marathon in March.
HIM in June
MAYBE another HIM in July
Full Iron in August.
Lots of running and biking races inbetween. particularly aan 80 km 2 person time trial that I am looking forward to in july! Some mountain bike stuff too.
Hmm.... might have an Xterra in Sept too....0
