Bikini Challenge - Summer 2013

So, we, from the X-mas challenge, thought that one more challenge, will be interesting to keep us (the one with the thyroid issues) in track for the next months.
I'm thinking of begging it at the 7nth of January (or even from the 1st and have a bonus week) until the 31th of May.
I'm making this topic so everyone who wants to be part gets noticed in time. At the end of December, I'll post the link for our spreadsheet.

    I would like to be in this but I am embarrased of my weight! Maybe it will keep me accountable....Im going to suck it up and join!!!!!!!!!!

    You're spreadsheet has helped me very much. I can "see" the small differences. At least I'm heading in the right direction. :D

    I'm in for any kind of help I can get!! I've lost 15, but need to lose 30 more. It seems like this thyroid thing is making hard to get past my plateau.

    This concept you suggested, about everyone setting their own goal, either counting weight (pounds, or kg), or waist ( cm, or inches) or whatever anyone likes sounds good to me!
    I found really attractive the possibility of setting our own goals because we are not starting from the same weight, or height or BMI or even age.
    The test link will be activated in the weekend, so as to give me some feedback , to make our spreadsheet better.

    Is there a possibility to add measurements to the spreadsheet? I think that is important for a bikini body ;)

    your welcome and thank you charm for being able to put my ideas into practice.
    it's gonna be great that it can be personalised for each individual person and we will hopefully be able to see how we are progressing with our goals week to week. I can't wait. love seeing everyone's progress x

    I'll try that but, it might become a very "big" spreadsheet. Don't forget that it will last for 6 months. I'm thinking a weekly measurement (member's choice) and extra monthly measurement (member's choice too). I'll try to do it through a drop down menu... If I find a way to do it! :laugh:

    Ever since gaining my last 10 pounds I've been embarrassed to be seen in a swimsuit. I want to change that by summer. Count me in!
  • I'd love the idea of a challenge, but I'm losing so slow that I would continuosly be last.. :( Perhaps I'll join anyways, just to get motivated by you guys!

    I'm in!! Haven't been able to lose a pound and keep it off in months in spite of the fact that I'm training for a marathon!! :yawn: :sad:

    So I guess if we're setting our own goals, mine is to reach 125 lbs. I'm at 133 now.

    What exactly are we doing?

    I wore my bikini a month ago even though I'm not even close to goal weight. I don't care if I still have a belly. :)

    well the plan is charm_quark is working on a spreadsheet for us to enter the measurement we want to track (weight, waist, bodyfat etc)
    we enter our current measurement and our goal measurement for end of challenge. we will measure each week and the spreadsheet will keep track of our progress. we can all offer each other support and advice to reach those goals.

    I have no doubt charm can make a spreadsheet for this but if for some reason it doesn't work as planned we will probably do what we did for Xmas challenge as that worked well but it only tracks weight.

    Charm_quark is working hard on the spreadsheet right now. when it has been completed and thoroughly tested she will provide the link.

    from what i have seen so far each person can track 2 measurements of their choice and choose their own goals for each of those for the end of the challenge. the first measurement is recorded weekly and the second is recorded monthly.

    i am probably going to go for my weight as my weekly measurement and my monthly one will prob be my waist size as it takes a few weeks for me to see a change in the number.

    Challenge starts on the 1st Jan!!

    Ok guys here it is THE BIKINI CHALLENGE SPREADSHEET

    as promised you can track ANY measurement you want (weight, body fat, waist, hips, legs, arms.... seriously anything and any unit u want lbs, kgs, cm, inches (as long as its a number it doesnt matter) lol) and you can also set your own goals. the spreadsheet is set out so u can track 2 measurements. one which you can measure every week and the second you only measure at the endof the month.


    me and charm have already entered our information to show you how its done.
    charm is tracking her weight weekly in kg and her bodyfat % monthly.
    i am tracking my weight weekly in lbs and my waist in cm monthly

    If u wish to take part then please fill out columns A, B and C by the start of the challenge which is the 1st of Jan

    Column A - your username (unit for your chosen weekly measurement - unit for your chosen monthly measurement)
    Column B - your end of challenge goal for your weekly measurement
    Column C - your end of challenge goal for your monthly measurement.

    (We suggest for the weekly one to track something that changes frequently (for example weight). and the monthly one something that takes a few weeks to see a change (waist, hips))

    Feel free to share with us here which measurements you have chosen to track. I hope u all find the spreadsheet easy to use but if you have any problems do not hesitate to contact myself or charm_quark and we will try and get back to u asap.
