    Thanks for the stronglifts 5x5 suggestion. I have been wanting to start messing more with free weights and this is PERFECT for the newbie. Interestingly i just read his diet suggestions and number 8 or 9 said no carbs except after workout.

    Strong lifts is a good program. Carb suggestion is somewhat silly and I'd suggest letting personal preference and gym performance dictate your carb timing.
