What have you found helps to prevent or control your gout attacks? This can be foods, supplements, medicines, exercises or strategies. Please be specific (how often, how much, what kind, etc).

Once i get a flare up i take about 2 dozen cherries or cranberries and eat them up. Then i drink lots and lots of water, usually 18 servings. The key is to flush the system. I haven't had a major attack in quite awhile but I am do for one soon since i've been so dehydrated lately.
