Well, looks like this is quite a small group. Just got over my first flare up. Not major - a few days on the big toe. I'm 47 and gout runs in my family - thought I had gotten away without it. Doing some minor diet adjustments and we'll see what I can do to repair what has clearly been building up for years. Good luck.

Well, it looks like I have tophi in my ear. I've had it before but now I know what it is. I just tried lancing it but to no avail. does anyone else have experience with tophi in the ears?
