Hi all

I had a gout attack for the first time ever 2 weeks ago it affected my knee, I've been off from exercise for some time because my knee is still very tender. Just wanted to know if anyone knew how long roughly it would take or took you to fully get back into exercise after a Gout attack. been back to aerobics but still feels awkward and even numb to running or high impact...

I really want to get back into fitness like zumba, crossfit, but this knee is holding back...

help!!

My first gout attack was also in the knee several years ago, because the severity of it, it still feels weak and pops when I walk. Muscles naturally release uric acid and so does weight loss so you have to drink tons of water and eat properly so you won't loose weight too fast. Exercise will actually help the joint even if it hurts to do it.
