    I started Ballet Beautiful (Body Blast and Total Body Workout) DVD and hope to complete 60 days to trim my lower part. Anyone doing a 30 day DVD for this challenge?

    In the past I've always used my long working hours and long commute (4hrs per day) as an excuse not to do much exercise because I was so tired. I've had a think about it and really there is no excuse, especially when I can do a lot of walking in between and also fit in exercise on my days off/after work etc. So my plan to fit in exercise around the long commute:

    - Walk to and from the train station (2 miles each way, 5 times a week)
    - Getting off a stop earlier and walking (2 miles each way, 5 times a week)
    - Other simple exercises:

    * Swimming
    * Wii Fit
    * Rowing Machine
    * More walking (plenty of lovely walks/trails where I live, fortunately)

    Finally, my main top up exercise is going to be kettleweight/cardio exercises each day. I recently bought the kettleblast DVD, but found it was too advanced for me, especially with my current weight, but the 2kg weights really are handy and there are loads of exercises you can find, even on YouTube!

    Let me know if you have any great ideas, I'd be really interested in trying them out, breaking up the routine etc. :)

    I just restarted Turbo Fire. I was doing it but very sporadic so with this challenge I decided that it would be a great way to get on track! It is fun!!
  • I am just using a combination of running and spinning along with an aggressive beat down on my calorie intake. Sadly, I am historically miserable at following programs, rules, instructions, etc.

    I'm a single mom and it is hard to find a reliable babysitter so I can go to the gym routinely. I've started the 30 day shred im on day 2. Hopefully I will be able to stick to it.

    Some things that keep me motivated:

    *I put some motivating quote's in an envelope and pull one out everytime i'm not motivated or before running. in really helps. I thought it would be boring, because I will remember all of the quotes I put into the envelope, but to be honest, I forgot some and even if I didn't forget them, they still motivate me a loooot! One that always sticks to my mind is: You're tired from kicking so much *kitten*. (I can picture this everytime I run and it cheers me up. I even think than running became easier because my *kitten* isn't so big anymore haha.). I got the quotes from pinterest: http://pinterest.com/princessnici/sports-healthy-way-of-living/ ....especially this quote keeps me motivated(reasons to run): http://pinterest.com/pin/44262008808470778/

    *I hang some motivating quotes on my walls in my room. On my mirror their hangs the quote 'Your one tough *****. Now go and prove it.' As I come across the mirror every morning, it always reminds me of not giving up and keep going and being that tough ***** I wanna be.

    *I also made a picture of me when I was biggest and put it where I can see it. Whoa, motivates me!

    * "Diva SlimsDown" - A youtube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/DivaSlimsDown ..that girl rooocks!

    *Make a box and put a certain amount of money into it every time you lose an lb :) and then buy or do something nice - just not eating !!! x)))
