    I'm a little disappointed that I only got half way there. Some family drama happened in week 5, and it really threw me for a loop - I probably should have found a better way to handle it, but, to be 100% honest, I just don't have that coping skill (whatever it is) yet. Instead I pretty much just ate whatever made me feel a bit better. That's something I have to work on.

    On the other hand, how awesome is it that, even eating pretty much whatever for two weeks, I'm only at 217? I gained two pounds in the first week of drama, and absolutely none in the second week of drama. To me, at least, that suggests that I've managed to change my eating habits in a fundamental way, that even when I'm angry and depressed I don't go super-overboard.

    Also awesome - at the end of two weeks, my head is (mostly) in the right place again. In the past I could spend months brooding over things, but now I'm bouncing back a lot faster. Tomorrow's not just a new day, it's a new year - and I expect amazing things of it.

    So... long story short, I lost 5lbs - only about half of what I had hoped for, but still great. I've got about 37lbs left to lose for my long-term goal, but I've already lost 13 since I started trying to lose, so I'm already a quarter of the way there. If I keep losing at the same rate; I'll be at my goal weight in September.

    I had a goal to lose 7 lbs over the six weeks. I had met my goal last week but was super worried about this past week because I was out of town and not able to control what I was eating the same way I do when I'm in my own territory. Somehow, I lost a pound and a half this week which was a shocker. I was hoping to just maintain...but I'll take it!

    You guys did great!

    It was a very tough 6 weeks for me and I'm close to goal.

    SW: 141 (25.2% body fat-average of 7 caliper and weight/ measurement methods of calculating)
    GW: 138, was hoping for 23% body fat

    Actual: 138.2, 24.7% body fat.

    Most of my caliper measures went down a little, but the back one went up quite a bit- hoping its just that my first measurement was off or something. So I am okay but not over the moon with these results.

    Lost 8.4 pounds goal was 11.2 so I didn't make it :( but I've been stuck at 160-165 for months now so I'm pretty happy I lost as much as I did :) AND my little froggy in my ticker is past that halfway point!

    I did not meet my goal to lose 15 lbs BUT:

    Challenge SW: 165

    I missed it but I am happy still the same.
    First, I hadn't taken into account my work schedules costing me the ability to continue to work out. I have worked out only 3 or 4 times since Dec. 1 and I was working out no less than 5 days a week prior.
    Also, I still enjoyed my holiday seasaon with "cheats and sweets" that I don't allow on a usual basis anymore. I was very careful and cautious and still ended up losing weight during the holidays with next to no working out.

    Meet my goal for NY? I may not have reached the scale goal but I did wear a size 8 pant to the party and still lost when I had believed I would not (and hoped to merely maintain). PLUS today I don't even have an urge "cheat". I see the left-over cookies and sweets and have no problem passing them by. These are victories for me :smokin:

    Everyone did great!!!

    Me-not so much! lol I am the same weight I was when it started. HOWEVER, I am pretty positive I have gotten my birth control issues figured out (which was causing weight gain the past month) and am working on some other health issues.

    Happy to have maintained during this 6 weeks. I did get down to 162, but it is back up.

    Onward and downward into the new year! Ready to kick some lbs and inches to the curb for good!! <3 Happy New Year everyone!

    I didn't forget to post my results, it just was impossible to load the forum section on my ipod.
    Here are my numbers!

    SW: 62.8 kgs (138.45lbs)
    CW: 60.4 (133.15lbs)

    GW: 60 kgs (132.28lbs)

    So, I didn't reach my goal weight (as expected) but I was pretty close! So I'm really happy that I joined the challenge, it did help me stay on track.
    I'm just days away from my NYE's goal ... and... final weightloss goal!!!!

    Congrats to all of you, even those who didn't lose what they expected. This was a huge step forward!
    Keep on trying hard to accomplish your goals and you'll do it sooner or later!!!

    Well I didn't make my goal, but I did better than I thought I would.
    Stress has been a major factor for me, but I have come through learning some new and better ways to manage this and lessen the impact it has on me.

    I only got half way to my goal of 145, but I am happy that I made it through the holidays without gaining weight! I have to admit
    that I went off my diet a little, enjoyed a few sweets and missed a few workouts. Still tried to be careful even though I was off of
    the regular programk.
