Hi All!

It's been almost two years since I was diagnosed with Diabetes. I finally got it right and started to lose weight. I just went for a check up and my Doctor has taken me off my meds! Wooo Weeeee It's a great feeling!!

    Fantastic!! I'm working to get off of insulin and rid of the insulin pump. Especially the expense of all the supplies. You should be very proud of your accomplishment. Happy New Year!

    Congratulations! This is really encouraging for me, especially after coming out of Xmas and all of that chocolate. I really want to manage with diet and lifestyle only, and you're super inspiring.

    Congrats!! This is my goal :)

    I have a few questions if you don't mind? How did the doctor arrive at the decision to take you off? Were you showing any signs physically that you should come off? Was it in the blood work? etc...the reason I ask is that I'm trying to figure out how I'll know when I might be ready to do this. (I hope that question made sense)
