Breast Feeding Calories?

I'm just wondering (for those of us still breast feeding or pumping) how to account for these calories on here? And how many extra calories do you give yourself (if any) for this? Thanks in advance.

I did a little searching and an additional 500 calories still seems to be the magic calorie number. Plus, it is in the "database" of foods on here as negative calories. You can log it as individual nursing sessions or one a day for -500 calories (I plan to do the latter). I want to lose weight, but I don't want my supply to suffer.

Yep, 500 calories is what I'm using now. Once I start feeding him solids on a regular basis, I'll probably lower it to 300, and then eventually when he's down to just nursing just 1-2 times a day I'll lower it to 150 or so. If I notice my weight loss start to stall at all I may fiddle with the numbers a bit, but this pattern worked well for me with my 2nd. :)
