I'm training for my first half sometime in the spring...I started Hal Higdon's 12 week training program, but I haven't found a good local half to sign up for yet.

I will be starting training in two weeks for a half at the end of April! This will be my third half marathon, although my last one was in February 2011, so it's been a while and I am basically starting from scratch!

I will be training for a 10 miler in May and then my second half in June (both in Chicago)..I will be working on my speed during the winter a bit since I'm stuck on the treadmill.

I have my first half on January 12. I have two others planned... March 16 and April 14. I'm contemplating the Chicago Marathon in October, but it will depend on how these races go!

I'm looking into joining a local running club's training program for the April one. I've been following the Hal Higdon plan for my first.

Feel free to add me to your friend's list!

I'm running my second half on April 13 in Kansas City- hoping to increase my pace by almost a minute (1st half pace was 10:52.) Then I'm running my first full in October in Chicago, I hope to finish in under 5 hours.

I'm planning to run my 7th full marathon sometime this spring but it won't be in March! Too early for this northerner. I will probably run one in May or June.

I am training for my second half in April. The first one was a total bust - cramping, had to make pit stops, and my time was 2:46. This time around, my training program says I should be able to do it under 2 hours. Don't think I believe that, but I do know I will be able to beat my first time by a huge margin!

I have only been running for a year, so waiting on marathons for at least another year.
