Meal Replacment Shakes

I am looking into some different meal replacement shakes for my breakfast mostly, I am not good at eatting breakfast and I think it may be a good way to start the day. Has anyone tried any of these and or had an success with any of them. The one that I am most interested in is Ideal Shape shakes. Does anyone have any info on them?

Breakfast is a challenge for me because I leave the house at 5:15, workout, shower and then drive to work so while I don't think meal replacements are the best way I am finding them a necessary evil. Usually, I will put protein powder in a water bottle and then mix it with water and then drink it after my workout but before I shower so I can feed my muscles ASAP. I use the vanilla GNC whey . It dissolves well and taste okay. I eat a banana in addition to the drink. But I've also used Horizon organic chocolate milk, Ensure- but I thought they tasted nasty, the generic low carb Chocolate Royal slimfast. With the slim fast I have put it in the blender with some ice, blended and then poured it into my water bottle. Made it like a chocolate shake. I don't know if those are the sort of meal replacements you had in mind. But they are cheaper than the other name brands and they have about the same nutritional value.

I used to work at 6 am so my breakfast was always a shake. I had the GNC lean shakes, they have a variety of flavors. I had a shaker cup with the metal ball so I was shaking my breakfast in the car, by the time I got to work I already had my breakfast. I do recommend trying to eat breakfast,a normal breakfast but for.some people the shake works. The shakes are 190-200 calories if u do them.with water. I liked mine with milk. Try them put. Some people dnt like the taste but I think they are great!

In the past, I have done breakfast and lunch. - Gnc Total Lean Lean Shake 25 Powder - Swiss Chocolate, in my opinion this is the best taste as oppose to other flavors. 2 scoops for 170 calories, fiber, 17 carbs, and 25 protein. Perhaps, I should try this again to be more consistent. Hope this helps you!
  • Thanks everyone I will look into them. I have been doing lean protien shakes and they dont always keep me full so I though maybe there was a better one out there!!
  • I drink a shake for breakfast and use the whey protein powder, chocolate is what I like best, with water, frozen strawberries, and frozen raspberries or blackberries ( for extra fiber) It is easy and tastes good!

    I love my shakes!
One every morning with banana or almond butter, cinnamon and omega 3 seeds.
    One straight after my workout.
I use Biogen ultra lean pro vanilla.

You can get so creative......even use in a recipe for muffins/flapjacks. Yummy
