Weekly weigh-in 01/09/13

Down 3.5 lbs this week! :) I feel like I have gotten a great start and have been making good decisions so far. I only worked out a few days this week for 30 mins at a time but its the consistent good eating choices that contributed to my loss this week.
I really like the accountability of this weekly weigh-in. Thanks for helping to motivate me!!

    burning 500ish calories a day in the gym and hitting my calories. I feel good about this week!

    I'm so disappointed in my results. I started this group at 195.8. Lost 0.4, then another 0.4.....THEN.....I GAINED 2.8 over night!!! WHAT?! I dropped 1 lb since then.

    SW (for 2013) 195.8
    CW jan 9th- 196.8 :(

    It's probably water retention if you have been working out. That's the problem sometimes with just weighing (it's better if you take measurements too). I'm sure you'll see a difference over the next few weeks if not days.

    I haven't weighed this morning so will start next week if ok? tom is here so probably not a good reflection anyway! x

    Feeling good! I don't expect to keep losing at that rate and that might get hard. But I did cut way back on sugar, white flour/potatoes/rice and fat. I went to the gym three days in a row, too. I have to admit I am hungry....

    Agreed. Just stick with it and next week will probably be an awesome week for you. You should be proud that you were honest :happy:

    Hi everyone! I just joined this group today (just in time for the first weigh-in! yay!). I have been on MFP for a year now and the first 6 months or so of last year I dropped 25lbs. It was awesome. Then for some reason, I just stopped being motivated. I am DETERMINED to lose about 50 more lbs. Anyways - back to the weigh-ins :happy:

    CW: 202.5
    GW: 155ish

    Felt like I had a pretty good week considering I didn't do so good on food Fri-Sun. Had a tooth pulled Fri, had to have soft foods, had a McDonald's shake, probably not the best choice, then was out of town all weekend which meant fast food. Did get on the treadmill about 20 minutes 4 days last week.
