    I'm so happy to finally get back on track! I was getting close to not having any clothes to wear that would fit. I knew I needed to put it in reverse and fast. I also realize that this first week loss is always the biggest. I'm ok with 1-2 pounds per week from here on out, also knowing that there will be the occasional week to gain. Right now, I'm just trying to stay positive and take it slow so I won't quit. I've also started the couch to 5k. I got the app for my phone so I'm hoping to use that to keep me going. (And also to make it possible to do The Color Run with my daughters in April.) Good job to everyone!

    PS I'm so thankful for this group so that I can have a place to check-in!! :)

    Lost most of those 4lbs in the first couple of days, and have been at 179.7 for a few days now. I've been hitting a 1000cal/day deficit (as measured by BodyMedia Fit), so I'm on track to lose 2lbs per week.

    I lost 22 pounds last year and then gained 22 pounds. So I started over again on Jan 2. I did not weigh until this morning for the group. 40 pounds during 2013 would be perfect for me.

    I wish it was more, but it IS 3lb and 3 inches lost in the last month, which is better than I've done so far. With the exception of last Saturday, I've been eating really well since Jan 1, and I really upped my cardio this past week, as well. Hopefully the weight loss picks up...

    Hi everyone. I am going to be weighing in on Sundays but I will just post the results on Wednesday like everyone else :)

    My staring weight is: 207 (the heaviest i have ever been)
    My current weight is: 201 (six pounds in the first week!)

    Also good job to everyone in their weight loss this week!

    What is your goal weight. I am making a spreadsheet to show everyone's progress.

    Looks like we have similar start weights and end weights. So happy I looked for this group!
